6年級英文小組主題彙報班際競賽

爲進一步培養學生的(de)公衆演講能力和(hé)團隊合作精神，英語學習(xí)中心爲六年級同學們提供了(le)一個(gè)展示自我的(de)舞台。在第14 周，我們舉行了(le)小組主題彙報展示比賽。鼓勵同學們積極參與，勇于表達，共同進步。

演講主題：A/M: 科技 E：友誼

In order to further develop students' public speaking skills and teamwork, Grade 6 is providing the students with a stage to express their ideas in a group. In Week 14, there is going to be a Grade 6 Group Presentation Competition. We hope that students will take advantage of this activity to participate, to express, and to improve together as a whole.

比賽初期準備
Getting started

爲了(le)保證每位演講者在決賽中的(de)最後呈現，學生們在老師的(de)幫助下(xià)完成了(le)爲時(shí)4周的(de)班級演講練習(xí)。

In order to make sure all presenters are well prepared for the final round, students practiced with the help and support of their English teachers in class during the past 4 weeks.

彩排活動

爲了(le)讓學生們能夠更好在決賽現場(chǎng)進行展示，學生們在老師的(de)幫助下(xià)，完成了(le)整個(gè)比賽的(de)彩排。彩排的(de)完成也(yě)能讓孩子們更加自信地爲決賽的(de)表演做(zuò)好充分(fēn)的(de)準備。

To help students prepare for their final performances the students conducted a rehearsal with the help and support of their teachers. The purpose of the rehearsal is to make students feel more confident and ready for the final show.

決賽現場(chǎng)，所有的(de)演講者以小組形式進行了(le)最終的(de)彙報展示。或是和(hé)大(dà)家介紹自己的(de)朋友，講述他(tā)們對(duì)友誼的(de)理(lǐ)解，感謝朋友們陪伴自己一同成長(cháng)。或是向大(dà)家介紹他(tā)們對(duì)當今飛(fēi)速發展的(de)科技的(de)認識及思考，AI、ChatGPT、仿生機器人(rén)……同學們帶領我們在科技的(de)銀河(hé)中探索遨遊。孩子們流利的(de)英語表達、自信大(dà)方的(de)台風、制作精美(měi)的(de)ppt赢得(de)了(le)在場(chǎng)所有同學們和(hé)家長(cháng)們熱(rè)烈的(de)掌聲。

For the final round, all presenters gave the speech as groups. They worked together confidently and enjoyed the big applause from their classmates and the parents! The students introduced themselves to the audience, explained their understandings of friendship, and expressed their thankfulness to their friends.They also talked about the rapidly developing technologies, such as AI, Chat GPT, bionic robots... Through the presentation, the students lead the audience to explore the evolving world of technology.The children's fluent English expression, confidence and well-designed slides received a warm applause from all the students and parent’s representatives.

“當衆有條理(lǐ)清晰的(de)表達自己的(de)想法是當今社會的(de)核心競争力之一，爲同學們自信且勇敢的(de)表達點贊”，馮校長(cháng)在看完孩子們的(de)表演後稱贊鼓勵道。

"Expressing one's thoughts clearly and orderly in public is one of the core competitiveness in today's society. I applaud the students for their confident and brave expression," Principal Feng praised and encouraged the children after watching their performance.

馮校長(cháng)、陶校長(cháng)、Ryan主任爲獲獎班級頒發獎杯及證書(shū)，笑(xiào)容洋溢在每一位同學的(de)臉上。

Principal Feng, Principal Tao, and Director Ryan presented trophies and certificates to the winners. The competition had ended happily.

給孩子一個(gè)舞台，他(tā)們會展現獨特的(de)自己；給孩子一個(gè)機會，他(tā)們會還(hái)我們一份驚喜。每一次比賽都是一種曆練，亦是一種成長(cháng)，期待同學們今後走向更大(dà)的(de)人(rén)生舞台，用(yòng)自信執著(zhe)擁抱美(měi)好的(de)未來(lái)！

If you provide a stage, children will show how different they are; If you offer an opportunity, children will give us a surprise. Every competition is a kind of experience and growth. We hope that the students will have a larger stage of life in the future and embrace a bright future with confidence and persistence!
